Daphne Scroggins is a theatermaker based in New York City with a background in acting and dance. She has trained at the British American Drama Academy, the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute, and Sharron Miller’s Academy for the Performing Arts.
Daphne is passionate about immersive and site-specific theater. Throughout her college career, she directed three site-specific projects: one in an elevator, one in a public park, and one in her house. She is particularly interested in work that focuses on senses that are often overlooked in theater: smell, taste, and touch. Daphne is excited to continue creating & developing work that pushes the boundaries of what an audience is accustomed to.
